ChatGPT on its own, and with SoundMind.
Use ChatGPT on its own to write and to reason over files you hand it. Connect SoundMind when you need to know where your documents disagree, and to have every answer follow the decision your team made.
At a glance
SoundMind connects into ChatGPT. The right column shows what SoundMind adds; ChatGPT keeps everything in its own column.
Compares conflicting files when you ask; no standing report [1]
Flags where your documents give different answers
No step where your team picks the right answer [2]
A person picks the answer; later answers use it
May turn to web search when your files have no answer [3]
Says so instead of guessing
Citations link to the original files (Business, Enterprise, Edu) [4]
Every answer cites its documents
Each person sees only what they can already open [4]
Follows each member's access groups
No duplicate-file feature found
Flags copies and answers from one of them
All three (OneDrive for work or school), plus Slack, GitHub, Teams, Box and Dropbox [5]
Notion, Google Drive, OneDrive and SharePoint
Can edit Drive and Notion files when allowed [7]
Asks for read-only permission and never edits your documents
Business and Enterprise: off by default [8]
We don't; not every AI provider makes the same promise
SAML single sign-on on Business; SOC 2 Type 2 [9]
No single sign-on and no certification yet
Company knowledge needs Business, Enterprise or Edu, on the web [4]
Early access: join the waitlist, plus an AI app that accepts custom connectors
Text and tables; pictures in PDFs; scanned tables may be misread [10]
Text, tables, slides, scanned pages and pictures; some file types cannot be read
Citations open the file, not a page or passage [4]
Names the page, slide or heading
No vendor page describes it
Catches "14 days" and "21 ngày" as two answers to one question
Where ChatGPT is strong
Writes, reasons and drafts beyond your files [4]
Business, Enterprise and Edu on the web, in developer mode [11]
On every plan: PDF, Word, Excel and slides [12]
"Not documented" means the vendor's own pages say nothing either way, so we do not claim "No".
Decide once. Every answer follows.
When two documents give different answers, SoundMind shows you both. Someone on your team picks the right one, and from then on every answer your AI apps get through SoundMind uses it. Your documents are not edited.
Meaning, not only words.
SoundMind compares what your documents mean, not only the words they use. So it catches "14 days" in your English terms and "21 ngày" in your Vietnamese FAQ as two answers to one question.
Security and honesty first.
SoundMind only reads: it never edits your documents. We don't train general-purpose AI models on them. Answers follow each person's access. When nothing in your documents covers a question, SoundMind says so instead of guessing. What we don't have yet: single sign-on and a security certification.
